Woah! The show ended 40 minutes ago and I'm already ready to let y'all know about this shit! When I first heard that Syd was coming, I damn near lost it because let's be real; Syd is fine. Syd can sing. And when Syd sings, all panties are coming off haha! Or bras in the case of one concertgoer. If you missed Syd at the Cabooze in Minneapolis, don't fret, she'll be all over the country apart of her Always Never Home tour! If you happen to be in Chicago, she's also apart of the Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in Chicago festival that Culture Piece is covering.

I was surprised to get prime viewing considering how poppin Syd is, but the music gods had my back. Y'all already know she played all the hits, songs I needed to hear and songs that fed my soul. She even closed out with hits from the late Aaliyah. I can't forget to mention that Syd sang directly to ya girl all the while looking me in my eyes! I'm sorry to fan girl, but trust me, y'all would too!

Syd also took the time to connect with her fans and speak on herself and her insecurities. I feel like everyone in the room felt the genuine presence of her and that spread unto us. I'm not sure what it was, but this was definitely one of my favorite shows of the season.
